Recently, we spoke with a school who have successfully used Clicker to transform a student’s negative relationship with writing and improved their outlook and pride in their written work.

This student particularly benefited from using tailor-made Word Banks, filled with targeted vocabulary to support her writing. The staff decided to create Word Banks for this learner with some sentence openers and adjective and verb suggestions to help her structure a cohesive piece of writing. The Word Bank also included the student’s targeted spelling words so she could access them independently in the lesson, using Clicker’s speech feedback to hear them read aloud.
