Aim of the Clicker Pilot Program:

The Clicker Pilot Program provides districts with a structured, 90-day opportunity to explore the impact of Clicker on student learning. With expert guidance and hands-on implementation support, the program is designed to:

Empower students with diverse learning needs to develop reading and writing skills using Clicker's inclusive tools.
Give districts a risk-free opportunity to assess Clicker's effectiveness before committing to a full implementation.
Ensure a smooth rollout with expert training and ongoing support to maximize impact within the 90-day trial.

Here's how a Clicker Pilot Program works

What do districts get?

A free, 90-day pilot of Clicker, available on both iPad and Chromebooks.

How does it work?

Throughout the pilot, districts try out Clicker with guidance and direction from our team. We have former special education teachers, supervisors, assistive technology specialists, and ESL teachers to help.

What happens at the end?

We collect data and testimonials to learn how Clicker best supports your students.

Recent Pilot Program testimonials:

  • "Clicker has significantly transformed the writing experience for two of my students, greatly enhancing their participation and giving them a voice. Previously, these students struggled to produce written work and required staff assistance to scribe and share for them. With Clicker, they can now take ownership of their writing. The pride and joy they feel when sharing their work with the group is evident. I am witnessing positive results and am excited to integrate Clicker into other core subjects to further support their learning!"
  • "Clicker provided a method for struggling students to demonstrate their knowledge in a way they couldn't before. It's been an invaluable tool both for reading and writing in the early grades particularly."
  • "As a coach, it has been exciting to witness the growth in writing output that students have made in the last two months. I'm excited to see where we can go as the momentum and excitement around Clicker continues to grow in our district!"
  • "Clicker increases independence within the classroom, especially during independent work time. As a result, the child had less need for an assistant. Assistants have been willing to learn how to find the pre-made Clicker documents and then let the student work by themself. The next step is to train other staff so they can input pre-made documents and sets."

Why should you give Clicker a try?

Inclusion-friendly

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is at the heart of Clicker; making sure accessibility is under one roof. As a result, students can practice reading and writing in their mainstream classrooms in the way they need, without transitioning to additional apps and extensions.

Clicker includes:

  • Audio feedback and correction to support students with dyslexia
  • Interactive picture support for multilingual learners
  • Sentence-building tools for emergent writers
  • And so much more!

Flexible resource library

We know having the right resources to hand is important. Clicker features a bank of thousands of pre-made resources and classic stories that can be used as-is or tweaked to fit teacher and student needs.

Differentiate on the fly

Even the best-planned lessons can need adapting. Clicker supports teachers to adjust their instruction in real-time. They can add or remove scaffolds to challenge or support students every step of the way.

Easy-to-use interface

Of course, piloting any new product has a learning curve. However, Clicker is easy to set-up, navigate, and use with whole-class, small-group, or individual instruction.

Perfect curriculum supplement

Off-the shelf curriculums have gaps, and teachers are forced to supplement, but this takes up time and energy. Therefore, Clicker is the perfect add-on to your literacy curriculum. It has all the applications teachers need to help students read and write.

Disguised support

Finding the right support without singling students out is challenging. Fortunately, Clicker provides "disguised support". Every student will look like they're doing the same task, but they'll receive what they need to engage.

Risk-free experience

Pilot programs require commitment, but they reveal if the product really works. Test out Clicker first to see if it's a good fit for your district.

A map of our work together

At the start of the pilot, we'll work with districts to define specific, measurable goals. For example:

By the end of the 90-day pilot, students will write a minimum of five complete sentences using Clicker with 80% accuracy, as measured by teacher assessments and analytics.

Here's what a Clicker Pilot Program looks like

Weeks 1-4:

  • Introduction and setup of Clicker on devices.
  • Define goals, create a bi-weekly meeting schedule, and collect baseline data on student writing.
  • Initial training for teachers and students.

Weeks 5-8:

  • Ongoing support and feedback collection.
  • Data analysis and progress evaluation.

Weeks 9-12:

  • Final evaluation of the pilot program.
  • Discuss outcomes and potential licensing solutions.
"Clicker is a comprehensive tool for literacy, with features and customizations to suit all students, regardless of cognitive level or physical ability. Ultimately, it gives increased independence, which is always our end goal."
Julie Osherow
Special School District of St. Louis County
"I've watched the transformation of so many elementary kids through the use of Clicker... I've been on a mission since then to help educators see this tool as a way to give students who don't have those supports a way to be successful. The accessibility is built-in. To this day there is not a comparable tool."
