How can I stop my Clicker Apps settings from resetting each time the app closes?

You want to stop having to change your Clicker Apps settings and keep the work available when the app or browser is closed.   

When to use this guide:  

• Your settings in the Clicker Apps are reset each time the app opens  

• The speech feedback voice resets each time you open the app  

• Your previous work is no longer displayed when you open the app. 

Steps:   

1. In Google Admin Console, navigate to Devices > Chrome > Settings and search for Chrome Sync (Chrome OS) 

2. Under “List of browsing data types that should be deleted when the browser is closed”, ensure that Cookies and other site data is unchecked 

Troubleshooting:  

• You may need to restart your device for this change to take effect
